President & CEO, Brad Miller
Brad Miller is President & CEO of Southeast Corporate, a position he has held beginning March 1, 2010.
Mr. Miller assumed the helm of the corporate during a dramatic time of change in the credit union network. When he was appointed Southeast Corporate’s Board said, “The Board feels strongly that Brad Miller is the right person at a critical time in the evolution of our Corporate system. He has broad industry experience and was chosen from among a field of very qualified candidates.”
For three years prior to joining Southeast, Mr. Miller held the position of Executive Director of the Association of Corporate Credit Unions (ACCU). Prior to that, he spent four years as President & CEO at Treasure State Corporate Credit Union in Montana. His prior financial service industry experience includes serving as a principal with Carreker Corporation specializing in payments consulting, check payment technology and other cash and logistics management services as well as a twelve-and-a-half year career with the Federal Reserve System including management positions in business development, payment systems and planning and analysis. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Technology in Business from Montana State University. Mr. Miller has held various investment securities licenses and attended the Sales Management Executive Program at the University of Minnesota.
In his position at ACCU Mr. Miller worked closely with corporate credit unions across the country. He has been a voice for the association on Capitol Hill and with the National Credit Union Administration. Mr. Miller has also worked closely with key credit union system groups including: the Credit Union National Association, the National Association of Federal Credit Unions, the National Association of State Credit Union Supervisors, the World Council of Credit Unions, various credit union leagues and credit unions.
With prior experience as the President & CEO of a small corporate he knows how to leverage resources wisely and is in touch with the needs of credit unions. His vision and breadth of knowledge of both the credit union movement and of the workings of the current economic situation provide strong leadership to Southeast Corporate.Executive Vice President, Robert F. Schleiter
Robert Schleiter, Jr. is Southeast Corporate's Executive Vice President and manages the Corporate's internal support services. He had previously served as Southeast's Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. Schleiter has more than 25 years experience in both domestic and international financial markets. He spent eight years with National Australia Bank LTD with stints at both its Jacksonville, Florida and Melbourne, Australia locations. In Jacksonville he served as Vice President, Treasurer and Director of National Americas Investment, Inc. Earlier in his career, he was with HomeSide Lending and was part of a three-person executive team the company sent to Australia to lead a three-year, multi-million dollar project to create a US-styled mortgage banking unit for HomeSide's parent, National Australia Bank, LTD. Schleiter has roots in Florida, having spent more than 15 years in the ranks at Barnett Banks, Inc. He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
SVP Chief Operations Officer, Kay Moon
Kay Moon is Southeast Corporate's Senior Vice President, Chief Operations Officer. She also served as Southeast's Senior Vice President Correspondent Services. Before coming to Southeast, she was Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Volunteer Corporate Credit Union. Moon's credit union career spans more than 35 years and she is a recognized expert in the payments area. She has served on U.S. Central's Payments Steering Committee, has chaired a user group for VSoft Incorporated, and served on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Clearing House Association. In addition, she was one of the founders of the Corporate Credit Union Network Operations Forum, serving two terms as Chairwoman.
SVP Chief Technology Officer, Jim Horlacher
Jim Horlacher is Southeast Corporate's Senior Vice President, Chief Technology Officer. He is responsible for planning, organization and administering Southeast Corporate's information technology (IT) programs, as well as the management of all aspects of the Corporate's IT infrastructure. Prior to joining Southeast, Mr. Horlacher served as SVP Chief Information and Systems Officer with Security Savings Bank in Olathe, Kansas. He was responsible for the bank's technology infrastructure. He also served as Assistant Vice President and Director of Information Technology Services for Federal Home Loan Bank in Topeka, Kansas. Mr. Horlacher has a technological career spanning over 25 years and holds a Bachelors of Science degree in computer science from the University of Illinois.
SVP Sales and Marketing, Sandy Baker
Sandy Baker is Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Southeast Corporate. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Business Development, Product Support and Implementation at Southeast and led the corporate's business development and sales efforts and the implementation and daily support of all correspondent products and services.
Before joining Southeast Corporate, she worked for Volunteer Corporate Credit Union for 12 years, most recently as Vice President of Marketing and Operations. Ms. Baker has a Bachelor of Science degree in finance with an emphasis in banking and an extensive background in the electronic payments arena.
SVP Business Services, Jim Gallagher
Jim Gallagher is Senior Vice President of Business Services for Southeast Corporate. He serves as President of Member Business Solutions LLC, a CUSO owned by Southeast Corporate and Georgia Central. Member Business Solutions offers a wide range of products to assist credit unions in the development and expansion of their member business lending and deposit programs.
Prior to joining Southeast, Mr. Gallagher had a successful 20 year career in commercial banking. The majority of his career was spent at Barnett Bank, working in various capacities: as a Commercial Analyst, Commercial Lender, Branch Manager and Business Banker. In his most recent position as Vice President of Business Banking, Team Leader/Sales Officer with SunTrust Bank, he consistently led the company in loan dollar volume and fee income production. In addition to sales, Mr. Gallagher also assisted with training and development of the retail sales force in his region.
Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Florida and has successfully completed core credit, commercial lending and retail management studies. He is a frequent guest speaker at regional small business conferences.
