ALMonitor Online
ALMonitor is Southeast Corporate's online asset liability management modeling tool for credit unions with less complex balance sheets. It was designed with reports that are generated using NCUA 5300 data which is maintained in our system. Your credit union manages its own additional information, inputting very general cash flow data into the program via its password protected website. ALMonitor allows data to be extracted into other programs and you can enter more specific investment information. It also has several additional features which include the ability to:
- Run reports anytime
- Access archived reports
- Analyze data from any U.S. credit union
- Perform an interactive GAP analysis which allows you to put in your own maturity structures and appropriate market sensitivity information
- View reports of up to five credit unions as one to assist with merger considerations
- View, print or download files into Microsoft Excel and Word to create custom reports
- Upload your credit union's 5300 call report data (prior to the release of NCUA's full database) to run more timely reports.
Reports
ALMonitor Online consists of the four traditional reporting elements: estimated CAE Score, Trends, Profitability and GAP Analysis.
-
Estimated CAE Report: provides the calculated scores for Capital Adequacy, Asset Quality and Earnings using NCUA's most recent CAMEL parameters. The report compares your credit union's ratios and scores to those of its peer group and provides an easy-to-read graphics display of the CAE components and overall score.

-
Trends Report: contains financial trends for the previous two years and includes quarterly peer comparisons. Coupled with detailed charts, this report will allow you and your board to quickly identify positive and negative trends and develop plans accordingly.

-
Profitability Report: presents your income statement as a percent of average assets for the previous calendar year and the current year to date. Its easy-to-read format displays your credit union's average balance sheet and income statement data. The report will help you perform in-depth earnings analysis that moves beyond the income statement, drilling down to underlying changes in asset-liability balances and rates.

Gap Report: provides a time-weighted gap analysis that takes into account the timing of the differences between rate sensitive assets and rate sensitive liabilities. The report also provides a "market-sensitive" time-weighted gap analysis to more closely estimate the degree of interest rate risk presented by the credit union's gap position. Most importantly, the Gap report provides rate-shock profitability impact analysis accompanied by easy-to-read charts.
