Southeast Corporate's Item Processing services have been designed specifically for credit unions, and tested and improved by credit unions. We're a leading processor of share drafts in the southeast. Our staff are industry veterans with years of experience working with credit unions and also at the Federal Reserve. Item Processing Process

• Southeast Corporate  receives files of  share drafts drawn on your R/T number from the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) and other depositing institutions.
• Processing of the share draft files  includes capture of the routing number, account number and draft amount, and verification of the check digit.
• Rejected items are handled at no charge.
• Processing of the share draft files also includes the capture of the draft image. Images are archived for the minimum period required by law.
• Images are made available through Internet retrieval and FTP download.
• Images can be linked to your home banking software.
• We provide daily transmission of all data captured from the MICR line. File transmissions can be received by secure file transfer.
• Return item processing includes the extraction, qualification, large-dollar return via item notification and return of drafts to the bank of first deposit.
• Your credit union incurs no FRB fees for return items because the Federal Reserve collection fee is absorbed in the price listed.
  Return item credits occur the next business day. Electronic file transmission may be used to send draft return notifications.
