Processing of inclearings:
Southeast Corporate takes delivery of share
drafts drawn on your R/T number from the
Federal Reserve Bank.
Data Capture - Processing
of the drafts includes capture of the account
number and draft amount, and verification
of the check digit. Rejected items are handled
at no charge.
Image Capture - Processing
of the drafts includes the capture of the
draft image. Drafts are held for 30 days
and images are archived for the minimum
period required by law. Images are made
available through Internet retrieval and
CD-ROM.
File Transmission - Processing
of the drafts includes daily transmission
of all data captured from the MICR line.
File transmissions may be completed by async,
or bisync communication or Internet download.
Processing of Return Items
- Return item processing includes the extraction,
qualification and return of drafts to the
bank of first deposit. The Federal Reserve
Bank (FRB) return collection fee is absorbed
in the price listed. Therefore, the credit
union incurs no FRB fees for return items.
Return item credits occur the next business
day. Electronic file transmission may be
used to send draft return notifications.
